Virginia’s Quality Rating and Improvement System

Virginia Quality is a voluntary program to assess, improve, and communicate the level of quality in early care and education settings. Virginia Quality considers five quality standards when rating a facility:

  • Basic Health & Safety
  • Education & Qualifications
  • Curriculum & Assessment
  • Environment 
  • Interactions
