Assure that quality early care and education services support children and families to be Ready and School and Ready for life. Focus on awareness building, training, and skill-building for early care and education providers, including service providers, school, and parents. Identify information on all early care and education programs offering childcare, identify and survey providers, centers, in-home licensed providers, registered providers and church exempt providers. Develop a plan to identify and support unregulated providers of unrelated children. Coordinate and expand training for early care and education and establish recurring early care and education provider meetings. Establish a voluntary Quality Rating Improvement System to review early care and education programs and provide mentoring to develop plans to improve quality.
